"History of the Party From The Brain Cells That Are Still Alive"
by Rod McManamy.
During the early to mid-1990s, there were band concerts in the main body of the lake. They started at 11pm & lasted until 4:00am. The late start was due to the fact that the (regionally) famous Swing Crew band first performed in the Dells and then rushed over to Lake Redstone.
-
There was a 24'x 32' dance floor built on one of the pontoon boats.
-
There was a port-a-potty on another boat.
-
The band sometimes hopped from boat to boat for the added thrill of everyone involved.
-
T-shirts were sold.
-
